Developed by visionary co-founders Charlie Palmer, a renowned award-winning chef, and Christopher Hunsberger, a seasoned hospitality executive with over 30 years of experience, Appellation redefines luxury hospitality by celebrating local culture, community, and craftsmanship. The brand emphasizes a people-powered approach where food and place interconnect to create unforgettable guest experiences. Located at the picturesque Wine & Roses Resort and Spa in Lodi, California, Appellation offers an ideal setting for romantic retreats, special occasions, business gatherings, and more. Lodi itself is a charming town in the heart of Northern California's wine country, known for its award-winning wineries, affordable cost of living, and a warm and welcoming community. This combination of an exceptional resort and a vibrant location makes Appellation a premier destination that supports professional growth and an enriched lifestyle.

The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Appellation plays a pivotal part in maintaining the high standards that define the brand’s hospitality excellence. As a part-time position offering a competitive pay rate of $21.35 per hour, the Housekeeping Supervisor supports the Executive Housekeeper by managing daily housekeeping operations and ensuring cleanliness across guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas. This leadership role calls for a dedicated hands-on manager who can lead, coach, and motivate a team of housekeeping associates to deliver impeccable service and maintain strict adherence to luxury standards. The supervisor is responsible for conducting inspections, facilitating training, managing schedules, addressing guest requests, and overseeing inventory and safety compliance.

Beyond daily operational responsibilities, the Housekeeping Supervisor fosters a collaborative and positive work environment that embodies the values of teamwork, accountability, and genuine hospitality. Candidates must possess strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering superior guest experiences. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred to enhance communication within a diverse team and guest demographic. The position also requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and operating specialized cleaning equipment. Employment is contingent upon completing a background check and physical fitness test, ensuring that candidates meet the essential standards for this active and critical role.

Appellation provides a supportive work atmosphere enriched with career advancement opportunities in various domains, including hotel operations, culinary arts, event planning, and management. The resort’s location offers employees a balanced lifestyle with access to stunning natural surroundings and cultural amenities alongside competitive benefits like 401(k) matching, supplemental insurance options, and team member discounts.
