The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Archer Hotel Napa is vital to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction that the hotel is known for. This position offers a pay rate of $23.00 to $24.00 per hour and is designed for someone who takes pride in leading a team, upholding rigorous cleanliness protocols, and ensuring that both guest rooms and public areas consistently meet the hotel’s quality expectations. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supporting the housekeeping and laundry departments by managing daily operations and ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and to the highest standard. In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, this role assumes full responsibility for overseeing the department, including training new hires, providing ongoing guidance to room attendants, and addressing any issues related to cleanliness or guest requests. This position requires a proactive individual who can supervise staff through open communication, coaching, and performance feedback while also managing labor costs, inventory, and compliance with health and safety regulations. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work culture and ensuring that every guest’s experience is welcoming and comfortable, reflecting Archer Hotel Napa’s commitment to excellence and hospitality.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months' related experience in hospitality or service industry preferred
  • ability to exert up to 60 pounds of force occasionally
  • capable of standing for an entire shift or extended amount of time
  • capable of reaching overhead, utilizing both hands, leaning over, stooping and kneeling
  • eager to be part of a great work culture and team

Job Duties

  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards as required by scheduling, which varies according to hotel needs
  • comply with LodgeWorks' standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
  • supervise the housekeeping staff, providing open communication, training, coaching, counseling and performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency
  • supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of house
  • ensure compliance with health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction
  • train, schedule, coach and support associates, ensuring that they perform in accordance with hotel standards and consistent with LodgeWorks' core values
