At Sodexo, inclusion, diversity, and respectful treatment of all employees are core values that foster a positive and supportive work culture. The company emphasizes fair employment practices regardless of race, gender, age, disability, or other protected characteristics, and continually invests in employee development and wellbeing.

The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Sodexo involves overseeing housekeeping operations within various client facility locations such as universities, hospitals, schools, or commercial complexes. This full-time position typically requires working afternoon and evening shifts on varying days, including some weekends and holidays, to ensure consistent management coverage across different schedules. The hourly pay range for this role is $21 to $22 per hour, making it a competitively compensated position within the facilities management sector. This supervisor role is crucial in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency within client premises by leading and coordinating housekeeping teams effectively.

Housekeeping Supervisors at Sodexo are responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of housekeeping staff, typically managing teams ranging from three to ten employees. They ensure that work assignments are completed timely, adhere to quality standards, and comply with client requirements. The position demands strong leadership, multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to solving challenges that arise in a dynamic facilities environment. Supervisors provide on-site guidance, support, and motivation to their teams while also serving as key communication links between management and staff. Punctuality, reliability, and a commitment to fostering a safe and healthy workplace are critical traits for success in this position.

In addition to overseeing daily operations, Housekeeping Supervisors may be assigned other duties as necessary depending on the specific account or client needs. These could include training new employees, managing inventory of cleaning supplies, conducting safety inspections, or implementing new processes to enhance service delivery. Sodexo supports employees in this role with ongoing training, development opportunities, and pathways to career advancement. The company also offers a comprehensive benefits package that typically includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401k retirement plans, and employee discount programs. Some locations provide additional perks such as free meals during shifts, uniforms, safety shoes, transportation support, and parking facilities.

Overall, working as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Sodexo means being part of a respected global team focused on quality and customer satisfaction. Employees are valued for their unique contributions and encouraged to share ideas in an inclusive environment.
