Job Requirements

  • Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekend days
  • Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
  • Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy
  • Commitment to following company policies and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality supervisory roles preferred
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including holidays and weekends
  • Knowledge of cleaning standards and safety procedures
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively

Job Duties

  • Verifies room status listed on the report, determines discrepant rooms, prioritizes room cleaning, and updates the status of departing guest rooms
  • Prepares and distributes assignment sheets/workboards to housekeeping staff
  • Inspects guest rooms after being cleaned by the housekeeper to ensure standards are met
  • Inspects public areas including bathrooms, restaurants, fitness center, pool area, offices, and service areas after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
  • Coordinates tasks and works with other departments to ensure that the department runs efficiently
  • Welcomes and greets guests and anticipates and addresses their needs
  • Interacts with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
