Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical stamina to perform housekeeping duties such as lifting bending and standing for long periods
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar environment required
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks involving lifting bending standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of housekeeping colleagues including room attendants and housepersons
- Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms hallways and public areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met
- Assist with scheduling payroll assigning tasks and monitoring productivity
- Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching and support
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues with professionalism and care
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and linens and report shortages or equipment issues
- Ensure compliance with safety sanitation and hotel policies
- Communicate effectively with other departments to support guest satisfaction
