The role being offered is a Housekeeping Supervisor who works closely with the Manager of Housekeeping. This employment opportunity demands a candidate who can oversee and execute comprehensive housekeeping activities across the facility, including apartments, offices, and common areas. The position involves developing and implementing daily cleaning schedules while ensuring strict adherence to these schedules. In addition to daily tasks, the supervisor coordinates monthly, quarterly, and annual routine cleaning services to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Strong leadership skills are essential, as the supervisor will be responsible for monitoring member satisfaction, managing housekeeping supply inventory, and responding to special or emergency requests as directed by the housekeeping Manager. This role also includes hands-on assistance and supervision in maintaining diverse living areas, ensuring all tasks align with established standards and infection control policies. Furthermore, the supervisor will provide orientation and ongoing training for new hires and existing employees in housekeeping, environmental services, and laundry, fostering a knowledgeable and compliant team.

Job Requirements
- High school graduate or GED
- Minimum two years of experience in housekeeping procedures preferably with a hotel, hospital, retirement community or public facility
- Possess general knowledge of infection control
- Must have working knowledge of housekeeping, floor care, and laundry methods, materials, and equipment
- Good interpersonal relationship skills and supervisory skills
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Develop and implement daily cleaning schedules
- Ensure consistent adherence to cleaning routines
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual routine cleaning services
- Follow up to ensure member satisfaction with provided services
- Order and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies
- Assist with cleaning and maintenance of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and care residences
- Handle special and emergency cleaning requests
- Provide new-hire orientation and in-service training for housekeeping, EVS, and laundry employees
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of work assignments and meet quality and timeliness objectives
- Apply policies and procedures appropriately
- Use tactful and diplomatic communication techniques
