The Jefferson Hotel is currently seeking a committed and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join its esteemed Housekeeping team. The Housekeeping Supervisor position is a hands-on leadership role where the incumbent will actively participate in daily housekeeping operations, including guest room cleaning, while simultaneously leading and supervising the housekeeping team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with various departments, such as Front Office and Engineering, to ensure a seamless experience for guests. The Housekeeping Supervisor at The Jefferson Hotel is responsible for motivating, coaching, and supporting the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and with meticulous attention to detail. Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work any day or evening of the week, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs
  • several years of hospitality housekeeping experience required
  • supervisory experience in a full-service hotel strongly preferred
  • demonstrated ability to motivate, coach, and support a team while maintaining high departmental standards
  • this is an active working supervisor position that requires daily participation in guest room cleaning and housekeeping operations
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift in a physically demanding environment

Job Qualifications

  • basic computer proficiency: familiarity with housekeeping systems and Microsoft Office is preferred

Job Duties

  • Clean and service guest rooms daily to support operational coverage and maintain luxury-level standards
  • supervise housekeeping team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and with attention to detail
  • inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance concerns
  • provide training, coaching, and ongoing support to housekeeping staff
  • respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and service needs
