Job Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- ability to move perform frequent and repetitive movements including bending and stooping
- must be able to lift, push, and pull a moderate weight frequently
- ability to scrub and scour surfaces, extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks, and work in confined spaces
- ability to follow instructions, directions, and meet deadlines including thorough cleaning of a minimum number of rooms assigned
- basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand information such as labels and instructions and basic guest requests
- previous housekeeping experience preferred
- previous hotel supervisor experience preferred
- must have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include early morning, evening, night, and weekend shifts

Job Duties
- Cleaning and/or assigning guestrooms in accordance with company standards
- oversee staff on a daily basis
- check rooms and common areas including stairways and lounge areas for cleanliness
- consistently inspect assigned areas and turn in inspection reports
- train housekeepers on cleaning and maintenance tasks
- establish and educate staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards
- schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in cases of absence
- ensure that lost and found articles are stored properly and that the correct logs are maintained
- work with engineering department to ensure that guest rooms and equipment preventive maintenance procedures are consistently carried out
- replenishing amenities and supplies in assigned storage rooms
- stocking and maintaining housekeeping carts
- reporting maintenance issues to supervisor immediately
- greeting guests in hallways in a pleasant and friendly manner
- respond to customer complaints and special requests
- ensure proper key control and SOPs are in effect
