The Housekeeping Supervisor position within this hotel is a critical leadership role responsible for managing the housekeeping and laundry operations effectively and safely. Job Duties

  • Ensure guest satisfaction by supervising the daily cleaning of hotel and grounds according to operational policies and standards
  • schedule associates in accordance with forecasted occupancy and adjust staffing for sudden changes
  • plan, assign and supervise daily activities of housekeeping and laundry staff
  • assume the role of housekeeper, laundry person or house person as needed
  • conduct continual inspections to determine overall cleanliness and condition and perform follow-up
  • schedule and supervise all rotational and special cleaning programs
  • ensure the team has necessary tools and equipment
  • work with maintenance on work orders and preventative maintenance
  • manage lost and found
  • coordinate room availability with front of house management
  • keep accurate and current records, logs, parts lists, manuals, and reference books
  • monitor responses on customer comment cards and formulate solutions
  • maintain proper inventory levels managing cost per room for supplies and labor and perform monthly inventory
