Job Duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction by supervising the daily cleaning of hotel and grounds according to operational policies and standards
- schedule associates in accordance with forecasted occupancy and adjust staffing for sudden changes
- plan, assign and supervise daily activities of housekeeping and laundry staff
- assume the role of housekeeper, laundry person or house person as needed
- conduct continual inspections to determine overall cleanliness and condition and perform follow-up
- schedule and supervise all rotational and special cleaning programs
- ensure the team has necessary tools and equipment
- work with maintenance on work orders and preventative maintenance
- manage lost and found
- coordinate room availability with front of house management
- keep accurate and current records, logs, parts lists, manuals, and reference books
- monitor responses on customer comment cards and formulate solutions
- maintain proper inventory levels managing cost per room for supplies and labor and perform monthly inventory
