Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Ability to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, reach, kneel, and bend
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training required
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Ability to train and coach staff effectively
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to guest satisfaction and sustainability practices
Job Duties
- Train, schedule, coach and support associates ensuring performance according to established brand or hotel standards and HHM core values
- Screen job applicants and hire new employees for housekeeping positions
- Train staff to clean rooms efficiently or partner with external vendors for training
- Communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction
- Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping associates
- Occasionally clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms
- Address associate performance and behavior issues directly or through vendors
- Supervise laundry employees if applicable
- Prepare work schedules based on anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing
- Follow sustainability guidelines related to HHM’s EarthView program
- Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment following MSDS and OSHA standards
- Assist in the breakfast area as needed
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Perform other duties as requested by management
