Job Description
Hospitality Housekeeping Management (HHM) is a dedicated hospitality company specializing in providing exceptional housekeeping and related services to hotels and resorts. With a focus on guest satisfaction, operational excellence, and sustainability, HHM upholds the high standards expected in the hospitality industry. HHM emphasizes a culture where "People Are Our Capability," embodying "Hearts That Serve," striving for "Only Excellence," maintaining agility with "Stay Nimble," and promoting accountability by encouraging employees to "Own It." This commitment drives the company’s service quality and employee engagement across all levels.
HHM is currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join their team. This is an hourly position offering a competitive wage of $23.00 per hour. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in overseeing housekeeping staff and ensuring that the brand and hotel guest service and sustainability standards are consistently met. This position offers a clear growth path within the company, including potential advancement to Executive Housekeeper, Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, and ultimately General Manager roles.
In this role, the Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting housekeeping associates to perform in alignment with established brand or hotel standards as well as HHM’s core values. They will participate in recruiting new associates and coach staff to maintain efficient cleaning practices. The supervisor will also monitor guest service scores to foster continuous improvement in guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include issuing cleaning supplies and equipment, occasionally assisting with room cleaning, and addressing performance and behavioral concerns among associates, whether HHM employees or external vendors.
Additional duties involve supervising laundry employees if applicable, preparing work schedules to maintain proper staffing based on anticipated occupancy, and following HHM’s EarthView sustainability guidelines. The supervisor must practice safe work habits by using protective safety equipment and adhering to OSHA and MSDS standards. There may also be times when the supervisor assists in the breakfast area, ensuring overall guest satisfaction and performing other management-assigned duties.
The work environment requires flexibility as schedules may vary, including holidays and weekends. Physically, standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, reaching, kneeling, and bending are common. HHM encourages a supportive and safe workplace, embracing wellness programs and professional development opportunities.
This role demands previous housekeeping experience or equivalent training, with a preference for candidates who hold a high school diploma and have prior supervisory responsibility. The benefits package is comprehensive, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, 401k company match, basic life insurance, travel discounts, commuter benefits, employee assistance and wellness programs, educational development, and a referral bonus program.
For candidates motivated to contribute to an established hospitality leader focused on quality, service, and sustainability, this is an excellent opportunity to develop a rewarding career while supporting a team and enriching the guest experience. HHM values dedication, safety, and continuous improvement to maintain its reputation for hospitality excellence and looks forward to welcoming a committed Housekeeping Supervisor to their team.
