Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- minimum 1 year of related work experience
- minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
- availability to work weekends and holidays
- ability to lift and carry objects up to 55 pounds without assistance
- ability to push and pull loaded carts over uneven surfaces
- ability to stand, sit, kneel, and walk for extended periods
- ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop
- strong attention to detail
- excellent communication skills
- willingness to follow company safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- at least 1 year of related work experience
- at least 1 year of supervisory experience
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- proficiency in using computers and point of sale systems
- ability to follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Inspect guest rooms to ensure quality standards
- run sold room reports and verify room status
- prioritize room cleaning and update room statuses
- assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees
- coordinate efforts between housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry
- document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms
- communicate changes in room assignments and issues to next shift
- complete required paperwork
- follow safety and security policies
- maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
- welcome and assist guests with service needs
- perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving housekeeping carts, and standing for extended periods
- enter and verify work-related information using computers and point of sale systems
- perform other duties as requested by supervisors
