Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • minimum 1 year of related work experience
  • minimum 1 year of supervisory experience
  • availability to work weekends and holidays
  • ability to lift and carry objects up to 55 pounds without assistance
  • ability to push and pull loaded carts over uneven surfaces
  • ability to stand, sit, kneel, and walk for extended periods
  • ability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent communication skills
  • willingness to follow company safety and security policies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • at least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • proficiency in using computers and point of sale systems
  • ability to follow safety protocols

Job Duties

  • Inspect guest rooms to ensure quality standards
  • run sold room reports and verify room status
  • prioritize room cleaning and update room statuses
  • assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating employees
  • coordinate efforts between housekeeping, engineering, front office, and laundry
  • document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms
  • communicate changes in room assignments and issues to next shift
  • complete required paperwork
  • follow safety and security policies
  • maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • welcome and assist guests with service needs
  • perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving housekeeping carts, and standing for extended periods
  • enter and verify work-related information using computers and point of sale systems
  • perform other duties as requested by supervisors
