Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality
- prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred

- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensures guest satisfaction by supervising daily cleaning of hotel and grounds according to operational policies and standards
- schedules associates in accordance with forecasted occupancy and adjusts staffing as needed
- plans, assigns and supervises daily activities of housekeeping and laundry staff
- assumes role of housekeeper, laundry person, or house person as needed
- conducts inspections to determine cleanliness and condition and performs follow-up
- schedules and supervises all rotational and special cleaning programs
- ensures the team has necessary tools and equipment
- works with maintenance including generating work orders and preventative maintenance
- manages lost and found
- coordinates room availability with front of house management
- keeps accurate and current records, logs, parts list, manuals, and reference books
- monitors responses on customer comment cards and identifies problem areas
- maintains proper inventory levels managing cost per room for supplies and labor and performs monthly inventory
