Job Description

The housekeeping supervisor position is offered by a reputable hotel known for its commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and service. As a key player in the hospitality industry, this hotel prides itself on creating memorable guest experiences by maintaining high cleanliness and presentation standards throughout its property. Established with a focus on guest satisfaction and operational excellence, it fosters a work environment that values teamwork, professional growth, and employee engagement. The hotel's culture is centered around its guiding principles, emphasizing associate engagement, guest loyalty, financial success, and community involvement, creating a supportive and dynamic atmosphere for its employees. This position is a full-time supervisory role that involves direct leadership of the hotel's housekeeping and laundry teams to ensure that all areas meet or exceed the company’s operational standards.

In the role of Housekeeping Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing daily cleaning operations and laundry management to guarantee a spotless environment that enhances guest satisfaction and protects the hotel’s assets. This leadership role demands a blend of hands-on management and strategic planning to coordinate staff schedules based on occupancy forecasts, supervise and train housekeeping staff, and conduct regular inspections to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. The supervisor also ensures that all cleaning equipment and supplies are adequately maintained and available for use, actively participating in cleaning activities as needed and collaborating closely with maintenance and front-of-house managers to synchronize room availability and address maintenance issues promptly.

Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are critical as the role includes managing inventories, maintaining records, and overseeing the lost and found operations. The supervisor monitors customer feedback, identifies areas for improvement, formulates solutions, and serves as an essential communication bridge between housekeeping staff and hotel management. Physical stamina and the ability to multitask are required due to the role’s hands-on nature, which includes standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and moving continuously throughout the workday. This position offers competitive pay and bonus opportunities along with comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401k plan with matching, paid time off, holiday pay, free parking, and hotel discounts. It supports a career path with training, development, and opportunities for advancement, making it an excellent choice for candidates passionate about hospitality and leadership.
