Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of related work experience
  • Experience in supervision preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to use computer and point-of-sale systems
  • Knowledge of housekeeping standards and procedures
  • Commitment to safety and quality assurance practices

Job Duties

  • Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and pool after cleaning to ensure quality standards
  • Prepare room availability reports and verify room statuses
  • Prioritize room cleaning and update departing guests' room status
  • Assist Housekeeping Department with daily activity management
  • Act as liaison coordinating efforts among Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry departments
  • Document and resolve room discrepancies with Front Desk
  • Prepare, distribute, and communicate assignment changes and shift information
