The Executive Housekeeper plays a critical role within HHM by supervising the housekeeping staff and ensuring that cleanliness and sustainability standards meet the company’s rigorous expectations. This role is offered on an hourly wage basis at $29.00 per hour, presenting an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality management and operational excellence. The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting associates to perform housekeeping tasks efficiently and according to established hotel standards. Additionally, the role involves hiring new employees when necessary, managing cleaning supplies and equipment, and occasionally assisting directly with cleaning rooms to maintain high-quality standards.

In this role, the Executive Housekeeper must be attentive to guest service scores, using this information to drive improvements and enhance overall guest satisfaction. This position also includes oversight of laundry employees when applicable, preparation of work schedules based on occupancy levels, and strict adherence to sustainability guidelines as part of HHM’s EarthView program. Safety is a priority, and the successful candidate must consistently practice safe work habits, wear protective safety gear, and comply with OSHA and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) standards.

Beyond housekeeping duties, the Executive Housekeeper may assist in the breakfast area as needed and will perform additional tasks as requested by management. Job Duties

  • Train schedule coach and support associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values
  • Screen job applicants and hire new employees in the event housekeeping associates are HHM employees
  • Train staff to clean rooms efficiently according to established standards or partner with external vendors to ensure proper training
  • Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction
  • Issue cleaning supplies and equipment to associates
  • Occasionally clean rooms or assist staff with cleaning rooms
  • Address associate performance and behavior concerns either through direct intervention or vendors
  • Supervise laundry employees if applicable
  • Prepare work schedules for HHM associates or provide vendors with anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits wear protective safety equipment and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Assist in the breakfast area as needed
  • Ensure overall guest satisfaction
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
