We are currently seeking a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dedicated team. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facility, which is essential for providing a healthy environment for both residents and staff. The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead the housekeeping department, ensuring that all cleaning standards meet regulatory requirements for sanitization and hygiene. Responsibilities include supervising housekeeping staff, coordinating cleaning and work schedules for multiple residential units, and managing the inventory of cleaning supplies. This position requires strong leadership skills, the ability to develop and implement policies and procedures, and effective communication abilities to interact with management and team members.
The position offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $20 to $25 per hour, reflecting the importance of this supervisory role within the organization. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
- demonstrated ability to develop, apply and interpret policies and procedures
- ability to communicate with high level management skills orally and in writing
- working knowledge of computers such as email, Microsoft Word and Excel
- ability to meet the demands of the work schedule - may occasionally require the ability to work outside of regularly scheduled hours
- schedules may vary based on business need
- knowledge and experience of cleaning techniques, equipment, and methods for a wide variety of surfaces
- knowledge of safety practices in the use of cleaning chemicals and supplies is essential
