Job Requirements
- minimum 2/3 years experience in housekeeping supervisory role
- endurance to stand and walk for extended periods
- proficiency in property management systems preferred
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- must speak and communicate in English
- capability to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs
- flexible to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- highly organized with multitasking skills in fast-paced environments
Job Qualifications
- 2/3 years or more minimum experience in housekeeping supervisory role, luxury hotel and/or resort highly preferred
- endurance to stand and walk for extended periods
- proficiency in property management systems preferred (Microsoft Office, Opera, Alice, etc.)
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication skills and customer service skills
- must speak and communicate in English
- capability to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight (up to 30lbs)
- flexible to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Supervise, train, and motivate room attendants, housemen, and turndown staff
- assign daily tasks and inspect work performance with constructive feedback
- conduct daily briefings to communicate VIP arrivals, special requests, and priority areas
- maintain clear communication with front office regarding room status and guest needs
- manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to ensure proper par levels
- coordinate with maintenance for prompt resolution of room deficiencies
- oversee proper handling and storage of luxury linens, towels, and delicate fabrics
- ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored
- conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure they meet our luxury standards
- implement and maintain rigorous cleaning protocols, paying special attention to high-touch surfaces and delicate materials
- use inspection checklist to document room conditions and provide immediate corrective feedback
- ensure proper placement of all amenities, linens, and decorative elements according to brand standards
- respond promptly to guest requests with discretion and professionalism
- personally verify VIP rooms and special request accommodations
- train staff in the art of unobtrusive service and attention to detail
- maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest belongings and information
- complete daily reports on room status, maintenance issues, and supply needs
- monitor and control departmental expenses within budget
- assist with scheduling and payroll documentation
- participate in monthly inventory counts
- perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager
