The role of Housekeeping Supervisor at Vinarosa Resort and Spa is a vital position that ensures the heart of the guest experience is impeccably maintained. Job Requirements

  • minimum 2/3 years experience in housekeeping supervisory role
  • endurance to stand and walk for extended periods
  • proficiency in property management systems preferred
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • must speak and communicate in English
  • capability to lift, push, and pull up to 30lbs
  • flexible to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • highly organized with multitasking skills in fast-paced environments

Job Qualifications

  • 2/3 years or more minimum experience in housekeeping supervisory role, luxury hotel and/or resort highly preferred
  • endurance to stand and walk for extended periods
  • proficiency in property management systems preferred (Microsoft Office, Opera, Alice, etc.)
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • excellent communication skills and customer service skills
  • must speak and communicate in English
  • capability to lift, push, and pull a moderate amount of weight (up to 30lbs)
  • flexible to work in different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • highly organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Supervise, train, and motivate room attendants, housemen, and turndown staff
  • assign daily tasks and inspect work performance with constructive feedback
  • conduct daily briefings to communicate VIP arrivals, special requests, and priority areas
  • maintain clear communication with front office regarding room status and guest needs
  • manage inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities to ensure proper par levels
  • coordinate with maintenance for prompt resolution of room deficiencies
  • oversee proper handling and storage of luxury linens, towels, and delicate fabrics
  • ensure all equipment is properly maintained and stored
  • conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to ensure they meet our luxury standards
  • implement and maintain rigorous cleaning protocols, paying special attention to high-touch surfaces and delicate materials
  • use inspection checklist to document room conditions and provide immediate corrective feedback
  • ensure proper placement of all amenities, linens, and decorative elements according to brand standards
  • respond promptly to guest requests with discretion and professionalism
  • personally verify VIP rooms and special request accommodations
  • train staff in the art of unobtrusive service and attention to detail
  • maintain strict confidentiality regarding guest belongings and information
  • complete daily reports on room status, maintenance issues, and supply needs
  • monitor and control departmental expenses within budget
  • assist with scheduling and payroll documentation
  • participate in monthly inventory counts
  • perform all other duties that may be assigned as needed by your manager
