Job Requirements
- ability to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- ability to kneel, bend, stretch, twist, and reach
- willing to work long hours when necessary
- fluency in English in reading, writing, and speaking
- prior experience in supervisory roles preferred
- must be able to multitask
- knowledge of housekeeping tools and equipment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- three years of progressive experience in hotel or related field
- prior supervisory experience preferred
- proficiency with housekeeping equipment and tools
- good communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking English
- ability to multitask effectively
- knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
Job Duties
- be a role model by assisting managers and team with training, coaching, cleaning, inspecting
- be a details person by monitoring hotel cleanliness and providing suggestions for improvement
- schedule housekeeping staff to meet business and guest needs
- ensure safety compliance and train team according to OSHA guidelines
- monitor supplies and control expenses within the department
- coordinate with maintenance and security on safety issues
- communicate effectively with team and management
