Job Description
Hilton Honors Management (HHM) is a reputed hospitality company part of the globally recognized Hilton brand, which commits to delivering exceptional guest experiences through its hotel and lodging operations. HHM operates across numerous hotels, continually striving for excellence in service, operational efficiency, and sustainable practices. Their approach focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting employee growth, and maintaining the high standards associated with the Hilton brand. Known for its dedication to employee development and superior guest satisfaction, HHM offers various career progression opportunities within the hospitality sector, from entry-level roles to executive management. The company places a strong emphasis on sustainability through its EarthView program and prioritizes safe working conditions and employee wellness, reflecting its commitment to corporate responsibility and care for its staff and guests. The role offered is a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor position with a competitive hourly wage ranging from $25.00 to $26.00. This position is vital within the hotel operations, directly impacting the guest experience and overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property. The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team, ensuring that all brand and hotel standards for guest services and sustainability are consistently met. This role involves extensive leadership duties, including training, scheduling, coaching, and supporting housekeeping associates, ensuring that all activities align with the HHM core values and Hilton brand expectations. As a supervisor, the incumbent plays an essential role in maintaining high guest satisfaction levels by managing cleaning quality, communicating guest service scores, and promptly addressing any associate performance or behavioral issues. In addition to internal staff supervision, the role may require coordination with external cleaning vendors to maintain standards and ensure staff are adequately trained. The supervisor also handles inventory management by issuing cleaning supplies and equipment and may occasionally assist with room cleaning duties, demonstrating hands-on leadership. A significant aspect of the position includes adherence to HHM's sustainability practices under the EarthView initiative, encouraging eco-friendly housekeeping operations. The Housekeeping Supervisor is also expected to foster a safe work environment by following OSHA standards and using personal protective equipment. This role also involves supervising laundry personnel if applicable and contributing to guest service beyond housekeeping, such as assisting in the breakfast area when needed. This multifaceted position demands a proactive and attentive leader who can balance operational oversight with an unwavering focus on guest satisfaction and employee development. There is a clear career advancement path from Housekeeping Supervisor to Executive Housekeeper, Front Office Manager, Assistant General Manager, and ultimately General Manager, demonstrating HHM's investment in its employees' long-term career growth and success. The role includes varied work schedules that may involve holidays and weekends, reflecting the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry. The physical demands of the job, including standing for extended periods, lifting, bending, and other activities, require a resilient and energetic individual capable of supporting the team's operational needs. The position embodies the HHM values of People Are Our Capability, Hearts That Serve, Only Excellence, Stay Nimble, and Own It, setting a cultural tone centered on people-first management, excellence in service, adaptability, and accountability.
