Job Requirements

  • One year experience in hotel housekeeping supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written English
  • Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the hotel
  • Must be able to climb stairs
  • Must be able to bend, reach above shoulders, kneel, twist and grip items
  • Must be able to push and pull cleaning equipment
  • Must be able to work various shifts, weekends, holidays and flexible hours
  • Must be able to stand during entire shift and have the ability to lift up to forty pounds

Job Qualifications

  • One year experience in hotel housekeeping supervision
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written English
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
  • Proven ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company and department policies
  • Inspect and evaluate the physical condition and appearance of guest rooms and public areas
  • Submit to management recommendations for maintenance-related issues
  • Inventory supplies and equipment
  • Train new employees on job duties and department policies
  • Coach and reward staff performance
  • Resolve guest and employee issues
  • Serve as a role model in guest service demonstrating an upbeat and positive attitude
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Promote superior guest service
