Job Requirements
- One year experience in hotel housekeeping supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written English
- Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the hotel
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to bend, reach above shoulders, kneel, twist and grip items
- Must be able to push and pull cleaning equipment
- Must be able to work various shifts, weekends, holidays and flexible hours
- Must be able to stand during entire shift and have the ability to lift up to forty pounds
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in hotel housekeeping supervision
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in written English
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
- Proven ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company and department policies
- Inspect and evaluate the physical condition and appearance of guest rooms and public areas
- Submit to management recommendations for maintenance-related issues
- Inventory supplies and equipment
- Train new employees on job duties and department policies
- Coach and reward staff performance
- Resolve guest and employee issues
- Serve as a role model in guest service demonstrating an upbeat and positive attitude
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Promote superior guest service
