Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, twist, lift, and move throughout the shift
  • Lift, carry, and position items weighing 25-30 lbs
  • Push, pull, and navigate carts weighing up to 100 lbs
  • Operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, brooms, and spray bottles
  • Ability to reach high and low spaces, observe conditions, and detect odors

Job Qualifications

  • 6 months of experience in a similar housekeeping role preferred
  • Engaging, caring, and professional leadership style
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions

Job Duties

  • Provide leadership and direction for all housekeeping and laundry activities
  • Coordinate daily workflow, assign rooms and duties, and adjust staffing as needed
  • Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure top-quality cleanliness standards
  • Train, onboard, motivate, coach, and hold team members accountable
  • Maintain a regularly scheduled cleaning program
  • Ensure guest and management requests are handled promptly, efficiently, and with a friendly attitude
  • Collaborate with Front Desk and other departments to enhance overall guest satisfaction
  • Assist with linen and supply inventory and ensure proper usage
  • Report maintenance needs and ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals
  • Assist with performance evaluations
  • Find coverage for call-outs or increased occupancy
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
