Job Requirements
- No prior experience or training required
- ability to follow instructions, policies, and guidelines
- ability to communicate effectively with management and staff
- physical ability to remain stationary, be mobile, and safely handle cleaning equipment
- capability to lift and push/pull up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work in various environmental conditions
- commitment to comply with safety and security policies
- availability to travel if necessary
- willingness to complete all required training
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions, policies, and guidelines while effectively communicating with management and staff
- comply with company standards, including productivity and time management objectives
- demonstrate good judgment in various situations
- ability to remain stationary regularly, be mobile throughout the hotel, and handle cleaning equipment safely
- ability to access low areas, navigate heights, and maintain stability while performing tasks
- occasionally lift and push/pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- identify items in guest rooms to ensure safe working conditions
- work in various environmental conditions, including outside weather and humidity, while maintaining safety standards
- willingness to travel to assist at other locations when needed
Job Duties
- Show unwavering dedication to providing an outstanding experience for our guests and fellow associates
- thoroughly clean and prepare assigned guest rooms in line with company standards, policies, and procedures
- maintain housekeeping carts, cart rooms, and laundry areas to ensure a clean and organized work environment
- stock carts and cart rooms as needed or as instructed by management
- promptly report maintenance issues to the front desk or manager on duty
- notify the front desk and manager on duty of any guest belongings found in check-out rooms
- assist guests with reasonable accommodation requests whenever possible
- adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures
- complete all required training provided by Extended Stay University
- contribute to cleaning other areas of the hotel as directed, including the associate break room, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas
- ensure overall hotel cleanliness is maintained at a high standard
- perform additional tasks as assigned by the management team
