Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated Housekeeper to join our team on a part-time basis, specifically for weekend shifts. This role is vital in ensuring that our facility remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all members and visitors. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for performing daily cleaning duties including maintaining locker rooms and other communal areas, handling trash and recycling, and engaging in seasonal activities such as lawn care and snow removal. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented approach, a strong work ethic, and the physical ability to handle the demands of the job such as lifting and maneuvering cleaning equipment. This position offers $13.00 per hour and includes employee discounts as part of the benefits package. No prior education is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking part-time work with a meaningful impact on community health and safety.

Job Requirements

  • Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties of job
  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs
  • Ability to work with cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms
  • Ability to work in conditions that will create dirt and dust
  • Must be detail oriented and exhibit a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to perform duties which may include semi reaching to full reach overhead

  • carrying, working in narrow and or confining spaces underground, overhead, and at ground level

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more of related experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents, and document work as needed

Job Duties

  • Ensure the cleanliness of the facility by completing the daily checklist
  • Perform duties such as wet and dust mopping, dusting, trash removal, recycling, window washing, vacuuming, seasonal activities dealing with lawn care and snow removal, and other general cleaning
  • Record and report repairs as needed and report hazardous conditions to supervisor
  • Other duties as assigned
