Job Requirements
- ability to read and understand cleaning instructions and safety guidelines
- physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- basic communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors and team members
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is advantageous

- familiarity with infection control standards and procedures

- ability to operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers and buffers
- demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic in previous roles
Job Duties
- perform daily cleaning and sanitization of resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
- dispose of waste and soiled materials safely and in accordance with facility policies and environmental regulations
- report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to the housekeeping supervisor promptly
- follow infection control procedures rigorously to minimize health risks to residents and staff
- assist in setting up rooms for new residents or special events as needed, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards
