Founded in 1955, PHS has grown into one of the largest nonprofit senior housing and service providers in the United States, serving over 41,800 older adults across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin through its 60 affiliated senior living communities and Optage home and community services. PHS also co-owns Genevive, the largest geriatric primary care practice in Minnesota, which offers comprehensive care to more than 15,500 older adults. Known for its innovative leadership and commitment to promoting independence, purposeful living, and overall well-being, PHS is deeply rooted in its mission and operating philosophies that emphasize compassionate and respectful care for seniors.

Maranatha, a community within the PHS network located in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, combines a variety of care options including assisted living apartments, a newly rebuilt care center, transitional care, and 24-hour skilled nursing services. Maranatha offers residents senior independent living apartments, assisted living, care center/long-term care including memory care, and transitional or rehabilitation care. This diverse community is designed to meet the evolving needs of older adults by providing personalized care and support. Employees here enjoy many conveniences such as access to public transportation, off-street parking, and discounted employee meals, contributing to a supportive and engaging work environment.

The manager is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and evaluating the housekeeping operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness in all work areas, buildings, and grounds. This is achieved by enforcing adherence to regulations, organizational policies, procedures, and best practices.

As an integral member of the site leadership team, the Housekeeping Services Manager actively participates in strategic planning and program implementation aimed at fostering a safe and secure environment for residents and staff alike. This position demands strong organizational, leadership, and administrative skills to lead a team effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment. The role requires the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders including residents, coworkers, family members, and the general public, emphasizing flexibility, integrity, and effective communication. This opportunity offers a salary range starting from $22.12 to $27.65 per hour, reflecting the organization's commitment to fair and competitive compensation based on qualifications and market conditions.

PHS provides a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week, including health, dental, life insurance, retirement plans with employer match, and paid holidays and extended sick leave. Part-time employees working 20-29 hours per week have access to vision insurance, disability options, accident and hospitalization coverage, and education assistance.
