Operating with a compassionate mission to promote independence, purposeful living, and overall well-being, PHS serves more than 41,800 seniors through 60 affiliated senior living communities spread across Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Beyond housing, PHS extends its care through Optage® home and community services and holds co-ownership of Genevive, Minnesota's largest geriatric primary care practice, which supports over 15,500 older adults. With a staff of approximately 8,000 dedicated employees, PHS has established itself as a leader and innovator in senior living and healthcare services nationwide, earning a respected reputation for excellence in the field.

The role of Housekeeper/Housekeeping Services Assistant is a vital part of the Folkestone community located at 100 Promenade Avenue, Wayzata, MN. Folkestone is recognized for being a progressive "green" community that offers a wide range of amenities including pedestrian walkways, shopping, dining options, plazas, open spaces, public art, and fountains—all within easy walking distance of downtown Wayzata and Lake Minnetonka. This role directly impacts the comfort and quality of life of residents by performing thorough cleaning duties, including floor care, washing, sanitizing, furniture and fixture polishing, waste removal, and window cleaning.

Additional responsibilities include collecting, sorting, washing, drying, labeling, and distributing laundry for both linens and residents' personal clothing as scheduled. Employees are expected to iron as necessary, inspect laundry for quality, and communicate with supervisors regarding supplies and residents’ needs. The position requires a high degree of flexibility, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with residents, family members, coworkers, visitors, and the public. Effective communication skills in English are essential to fulfill the role's duties efficiently.

The estimated starting pay range is $19.09 to $20.59 per hour, varying according to qualifications and market conditions. This is a benefits-eligible, full-time role with employment beginning at a minimum of 30 hours per week. Presbyterian Homes & Services offers comprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurance, employer contributions to health savings accounts, life insurance, retirement plans with employer matching, holiday pay, extended sick leave, vision insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, accident and hospitalization insurance, education assistance, paid time off, same-day pay, employee assistance programs, educational discounts, and access to mental health and wellness resources.
