Job Requirements

- availability to work full-time hours including every other weekend and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous housekeeping or cleaning experience a plus
- ability to take direction and organize duties
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- demonstrated compatibility with organizational mission and values
- ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- flexibility and integrity in working with diverse populations
Job Duties
- General cleaning including floor care and washing
- sanitizing and polishing furniture and fixtures
- waste removal and stocking supplies
- cleaning windows and maintaining laundry including collecting, sorting, labeling, washing, drying, ironing, and distribution
- inspecting laundry and linens for quality
- replenishing housekeeping and laundry supplies
- cleaning and storing equipment and tools at end of shift
- communicating with supervisors regarding replacement needs and resident concerns
- performing additional duties as assigned
