This position offers full-time, non-management employment at one of Miami Beach's most distinguished hotels. The role is central to maintaining the high standards that the EDITION brand represents, focusing on ensuring guest satisfaction through cleanliness, safety, and responsiveness within the hotel environment.

The Housekeeping team member at The Miami Beach EDITION plays a crucial part in delivering the hotel’s promise of luxury and comfort. The role requires responding promptly to guest requests and collaborating efficiently with other departments to maintain pristine public areas and guest rooms. Responsibilities include identifying and reporting maintenance issues, posting caution signs to ensure safety, and conducting communication with maintenance teams to address urgent repair needs. The candidate will handle guest requests such as delivering items and setting up furniture in rooms, and removing debris and used items from hallways to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.

An important aspect of this role involves managing cleaning equipment: ensuring it is cleaned, maintained, and properly stored. The Housekeeping team member must adhere to all company safety and security policies, report any hazards, and complete necessary safety training and certifications. Maintaining a professional appearance, respecting confidentiality, and providing exceptional guest interaction with genuine appreciation is fundamental in this role.

This position demands physical stamina and the ability to perform various manual tasks, such as moving or lifting objects weighing up to 55 pounds independently, and more with assistance; pushing and pulling loaded carts across different surfaces; reaching above and below the knees, bending, twisting, and stooping; and navigating confined or elevated spaces including the ability to climb ladders safely. Visual inspection skills to identify defects in equipment are also essential. The role requires continuous standing, walking, kneeling, or sitting during the entire work shift.

Job Duties
