Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous housekeeping or room attendant experience beneficial
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety protocols
  • strong attention to detail and reliability
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks safely

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in housekeeping or room attendant roles is an asset
  • knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and safe operation of cleaning equipment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
  • ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • physical capability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting and bending as required

Job Duties

  • Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters, and floor surfaces using cloths, mops, sponges, brushes, and/or cleaning agents
  • adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents
  • strip and make beds, changing bed linens, which may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs
  • dust all furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges, and shelves thoroughly
  • push and pull vacuum throughout entire room and empty trash
  • replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest rooms
  • sign for room keys, retrieve, push to assigned rooms and restock heavy cart
  • visually inspect room for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room
  • comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • perform any other job-related duties as assigned
