The Housekeeping Room Attendant plays a critical role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of all guests by keeping guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas immaculate according to the hotel's exacting standards. Responsibilities include changing linens, restocking amenities, disposing of used linens and trash, and promptly reporting any maintenance issues.

Beyond basic cleaning duties, the housekeeping team member is also tasked with maintaining housekeeping carts and supplies in an organized fashion and participating in deep-cleaning projects and special room preparations when necessary. Candidates must be physically capable of performing the demanding tasks required, which include lifting up to 30 pounds and standing, bending, or walking for long periods. Working in a respectful and efficient manner, the employee will also adhere to strict uniform and grooming policies and uphold safety guidelines concerning the handling of cleaning chemicals.

Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of relevant cleaning experience
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for extended periods
  • ability to relocate to Ventura, CA
