Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including standing and lifting
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
- strong attention to detail and time management skills
- ability to follow instructions and work independently
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning janitorial work or hospitality housekeeping roles
- strong knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet extraction and tile maintenance
- familiarity with hotel or industrial cleaning equipment and supplies
- excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality
- ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- good physical stamina to stand bend lift and perform repetitive tasks
- knowledge of custodial best practices and housekeeping management principles
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms including making beds dusting vacuuming and replenishing supplies
- perform detailed floor care tasks such as mopping sweeping and carpet cleaning
- handle laundry duties including washing folding and organizing linens and towels
- maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies hallways restrooms and shared spaces
- follow safety protocols during cleaning and handle chemicals responsibly
- report maintenance issues or damages promptly
- adhere to hotel policies health regulations and safety standards
