We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Attendant to join our team. This role is integral to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction that the Mission Inn Hotel & Spa is known for. The Room Attendant will be responsible for ensuring every guest room is immaculate, well-stocked, and comfortable, contributing directly to the overall guest experience. This full-time seasonal position offers a starting pay from $16.90 per hour and involves varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, particularly during the busy Festival of Lights season.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housekeeping with experience in using industrial cleaning equipment and products, excellent physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities include changing bed linens, replenishing bath amenities, cleaning public areas, and addressing any guest inquiries promptly. Reliability, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this position. Job Duties
- Change bed linen and make beds
- Replace used towels
- Sweep and mop floors
- Vacuum carpets
- Dust furniture
- Replenish bath care products
- Restock beverages and food items in the mini-bar
- Clean public areas
- Report any technical issues and maintenance needs
- Address guests' queries
- Help guests retrieve lost items
- Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
- Follow hotel security guidelines
- Additional duties as assigned
