This expansive health network is recognized nationally for its clinical innovation, outstanding health outcomes, superior consumer experience, and excellence in value-based care. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Advocate Health serves nearly six million patients through its 69 hospitals and over 1,000 care locations. It is deeply involved in hundreds of clinical trials and research initiatives, supported academically by the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, which serves as the enterprise’s core academic hub. The system is especially known for its expertise in cardiology, neurosciences, oncology, pediatrics, rehabilitation, organ transplants, burn treatments, and specialized musculoskeletal programs. Advocate Health employs a diverse team of 155,000 professionals and offers one of the nation's largest graduate medical education programs, with over 2,000 residents and fellows spread across more than 200 programs. The organization is committed to equitable care and contributes more than six billion dollars annually in community benefits, reflecting its dedication to public health and service excellence.
