The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the efficient processing of hotel and guest laundry, which includes pressing, sorting, and folding a variety of linens and fabrics used throughout the property. This position requires familiarity with commercial laundry equipment, including pressing machines and folding devices, and involves programming and logging these operations accurately to ensure optimal use of resources. Key tasks include ironing sheets, pillowcases, tablecloths, folding towels, sorting soiled linens, loading dryers, and distributing cleaned items to the proper storage locations within the hotel. The Laundry Attendant plays a crucial role in upholding the hotel’s standards of hygiene and presentation, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
