Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping or housekeeping assistant experience preferred
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- physical ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies
- flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
- attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Well organized
- demonstrated strong problem solving skills
- ability to communicate effectively
- ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests
- relevant experience in a large resort
Job Duties
- Ensure guest hallways are maintained and clean
- assist Room Attendants with removing soiled linen and trash from guest rooms
- complete daily assignment sheet
- check and restock cleaning and general supplies
- ensure trash bins by guest elevators are emptied on a regular basis
- report any deficiencies on guest hallways and other areas to Floor Supervisor
- perform other related duties as assigned
