The Housekeeping Attendant position at Hyatt Regency Seattle is a dynamic role crucial to maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall guest experience of the hotel. This part-time role offers competitive hourly pay ranging from $27.50 to $28.05, reflecting the value the employer places on expertise and dedication. The Housekeeping Attendant supports multiple teams within the Housekeeping Department, including laundry, public areas, and guest room teams, demonstrating flexibility and cross-functional service capabilities. These attendants assist with processing both hotel and guest laundry, ensuring that linens and textiles meet the high standards expected by Hyatt’s clientele. Additionally, they contribute to maintaining public spaces and guest rooms by supporting room attendants with stocking supplies and addressing guest or colleague requests quickly and efficiently. This role requires the ability to work at a fast pace while remaining attentive to detail and guest preferences.
Those in this position are expected to have exceptional communication and guest service skills in order to effectively respond to the needs of guests and support housekeeping colleagues alike. The role involves frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling of moderate weight items, necessitating a level of physical fitness and stamina throughout each shift. Candidates must have open availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, which ensures that the housekeeping needs of Hyatt Regency Seattle are met consistently throughout all operational hours. The position also offers the potential for additional compensation through gratuities and special tasks such as making extra beds like sofas and rollaways.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience beneficial
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to maintain a fast pace under supervision
- Willingness to assist various teams within housekeeping department
