Joining the Grand Hyatt Seattle as a Housekeeping Attendant presents an incredible opportunity to be part of the hotel’s Housekeeping team, a pivotal department that ensures the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas. The Housekeeping Attendant plays a versatile and essential role by supporting multiple teams within the department, including laundry, public area upkeep, and guest room maintenance. This role requires flexibility as the attendant may be assigned to different teams and shifts within the same week, allowing for a dynamic and varied work experience.

As a Housekeeping Attendant, the candidate will be responsible for assisting with processing both hotel and guest laundry, maintaining pristine cleanliness standards throughout the hotel’s public areas and guest rooms, and responding promptly to guest and colleague requests. This role supports Room Attendants by stocking housekeeping supplies on all floors and helps execute special projects as needed to maintain efficient departmental operations. The position demands a team-oriented individual with excellent communication and guest service skills who can maintain a fast-paced work rhythm. Physical stamina is necessary since duties include lifting, pushing, and pulling moderate weights. Additionally, availability for weekend, evening, and holiday shifts is required.

With an hourly wage starting at $27.50 and increasing up to $28.05 after four years of service, the Housekeeping Attendant position includes the potential for additional earnings via gratuities and extra bed setups, such as sofas and roll-away beds.
