As a Balcony Cleaner at Fontainebleau Miami Beach, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the hotel's reputation for impeccable cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves ensuring that all assigned balconies, patio furniture, sliding doors, and windows are consistently clean and presentable. You will work closely with the Engineering department to maintain the quality and condition of all balcony areas and report maintenance issues promptly to ensure the safety and comfort of guests. The position demands attention to detail, the use of appropriate cleaning chemicals, and adherence to hotel procedures, including handling lost and found items correctly. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or resort cleaning roles preferred
- ability to use cleaning chemicals safely
- strong attention to detail and reliability
- good communication skills
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills
- ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and guests
- relevant experience in a large resort
Job Duties
- Maintains and cleans balcony
- works with Engineering department to maintain condition/quality of balconies
- reports all maintenance problems as needed
- notifies supervisor when a shortage of supplies is noticed
- recognizes and uses appropriate cleaning chemicals
- turns in articles left in rooms to management for lost and found handling
- assists with projects as needed
- performs other duties as required
