Job Description

AC Hotels by Marriott is a contemporary lifestyle hotel brand known for its sophisticated design, attention to detail, and exceptional hospitality. As part of Marriott International's extensive portfolio, AC Hotels offers guests a unique blend of European-inspired style and modern comfort, tailored to meet the needs of discerning travelers. Located at 801 S Gadsden St, Tallahassee, Florida, this full-time, non-management position within the Rooms & Guest Services Operations team emphasizes delivering a seamless and memorable guest experience in a dynamic hospitality environment.

The role of Guest Services Associate at AC Hotels is pivotal in ensuring smooth front desk operations and enhancing guest satisfaction. This position involves completing cashier and closing reports, managing guest check-ins by verifying reservations and identity, processing payments, and assigning rooms efficiently. The associate acts as a primary point of contact for guests, addressing requests and resolving issues by coordinating with departments such as Bell Services and Housekeeping. Additionally, the associate handles billing tasks such as charging outlet expenses to guest rooms and ensuring rate accuracy and proper documentation.

Beyond operational duties, the Guest Services Associate supports management by assisting with employee training, performance evaluations, counseling, and fostering a positive workplace culture aligned with the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies. The role demands professionalism in communication, appearance, and adherence to company policies including safety protocols and confidentiality of proprietary information.

AC Hotels' culture revolves around attention to detail, creativity, and continuous improvement in guest service. Associates are encouraged to exhibit curiosity, embrace learning opportunities, and maintain a global mindset while delivering personalized hospitality that anticipates and exceeds guest needs. The position requires physical stamina to stand or move throughout entire shifts and perform tasks involving lifting up to 25 pounds.

AC Hotels promotes an inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and equal opportunity. The organization actively supports all employees regardless of background, veteran status, or disability, reinforcing a respectful and welcoming atmosphere.

For candidates with a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of related and supervisory experience, this opportunity offers a platform to thrive, contribute to a leading hospitality brand, and grow within Marriott International's global family. The Guest Services Associate role at AC Hotels is more than just a job—it's a chance to belong to a worldwide team, enrich guest experiences, and evolve professionally in a culture that champions purpose and excellence.
