The Housekeeping Manager position at Rivani is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the day-to-day operational success of the housekeeping team. Job Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years housekeeping experience including 3 to 5 years as supervisor or lead in 5-star luxury hotel or resort
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling, and sanitation
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and hold team accountable
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Proficiency with scheduling and inventory tools and digital platforms
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Flexibility for varied shifts, weekends, holidays, and events
  • Understanding of OSHA standards and SDS procedures
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

Job Duties

  • Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide real-time coaching and feedback
  • Establish and enforce cleaning protocols for all common and amenity areas
  • Develop and manage cleaning schedules to ensure full coverage
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, equipment, and linens
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality control of cleaned areas
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs
  • Address tenant concerns and housekeeping requests professionally
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
  • Oversee external contractor performance and contract compliance
  • Maintain housekeeping records and prepare reports
  • Assist in managing housekeeping budget and tracking expenditures
