It blends comfort with professionalism, backed by a strong leadership team focused on operational excellence.
The Housekeeping Supervisor role at Hotel Canandaigua is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented individual passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and supporting event operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Housekeeping, this leadership position involves overseeing daily housekeeping for guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas, ensuring everything aligns perfectly with brand, company, and guest expectations. The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in managing the housekeeping team’s workflow, maintaining supplies and equipment, and assisting in laundry and inspections as needed. The position also supports banquet and event operations by managing setup and breakdown, ensuring event spaces meet precise standards, and coordinating with management and other teams to deliver seamless event experiences.
This role requires balancing multiple responsibilities, including supervising cleaning standards, securing and managing keys, handling inventory, and maintaining effective communication across departments such as maintenance and event planning. Additionally, the Housekeeping Supervisor must demonstrate strong leadership to motivate team members, apply excellent organizational skills to manage time and tasks efficiently, and maintain flexibility to adapt to the dynamic needs of both housekeeping and event functions. Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or banquet services is preferred, highlighting the importance of industry knowledge for success in this role.
