Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One year experience in housekeeping or related professional area
  • Or two-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities

Job Duties

  • Supports daily shift operations of housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry
  • Ensures guestrooms, public spaces, and employee areas are clean and well maintained
  • Conducts daily inspections of guestrooms
  • Communicates guest room status to the Front Desk promptly
  • Manages inventory to ensure adequate supplies
  • Supervises housekeeping staff ensuring compliance with policies and standards
  • Schedules employees and tracks attendance
  • Provides feedback and coaching to employees on service behaviors
  • Celebrates team achievements and recognizes individual contributions
  • Handles guest complaints and strives to improve service performance
  • Empowers employees to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Implements corrective action plans to enhance guest satisfaction
