This company offers a supportive and growth-oriented environment, emphasizing team member wellness, career development, and comprehensive benefits, making it a preferred employer in the hospitality industry. We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the organization, staffing, and quality of operations within the Housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in housekeeping operations, including performing basic housekeeping duties such as changing sheets, arranging towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning rooms promptly after guest checkouts. Daily room inspections will be a key responsibility to assure adherence to Island Hospitality's and brand standards. Additionally, the Housekeeping Manager will manage departmental inventories for uniforms and supplies, forecast and control budgets to optimize costs without compromising quality, and handle purchases with an emphasis on cost-efficiency. In this role, you will prepare staff schedules aligned with budgets and business forecasts, manage recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, and handle disciplinary actions. Your leadership will directly contribute to maintaining or exceeding guest service expectations and fostering a motivated, high-achieving housekeeping team. Physical stamina is necessary as this role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds. Island Hospitality values employee development through a structured training program that enables staff to build on prior experience or embark on new hospitality career paths. Our team member wellness program, comprehensive benefits package, and reward incentives create a supportive workplace culture. Benefits include healthcare coverage with medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, identity theft protection, pet insurance, paid time off, family leave, and a robust 401(k) retirement plan with company matching. We also offer incentive-based bonuses, free room nights, employee discounts, recognition programs, and opportunities for professional growth through personalized training paths. Join Island Hospitality as a Housekeeping Manager to lead a passionate team dedicated to excellence in hospitality services.
