Job Description

Our client is a renowned hotel hospitality company recognized for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and comfort across their properties. With a commitment to excellence, the organization focuses on ensuring every stay is memorable by providing outstanding service and a pristine environment that meets both company and brand standards. As a leading player in the hotel industry, the company fosters a work culture that encourages professional growth, teamwork, and dedication to guest satisfaction. Their properties typically include guestrooms, common areas, and back-of-house spaces, all requiring meticulous attention to detail and consistent quality to uphold the brand's reputation.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Housekeeping Manager to join the team. This full-time position is pivotal to maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guestrooms, public spaces, and operational areas within the hotel. The successful candidate will manage the daily operations of both housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring that policies and procedures align with company and brand standards. The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for supervising, directing, and inspecting the work of room attendants, laundry attendants, housepersons, and other assigned staff to achieve optimal cleanliness and productivity levels.

In this role, the Housekeeping Manager will oversee scheduling, training, and performance management of the housekeeping team, promoting a safe and efficient working environment through proper training on equipment, chemicals, and safety protocols. The manager will also participate in staff recruitment and selection processes, as well as developing incentive programs to motivate and retain employees. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations is an essential aspect of the position. The individual will conduct property walkthroughs and daily inspections to maintain high standards and coordinate closely with the maintenance team to address any safety or maintenance issues promptly.

Additionally, the Housekeeping Manager will manage inventory processes, such as monitoring linens and supplies, and handle administrative responsibilities including accurate data entry into property management systems and managing the hotel’s lost and found operations. The role requires flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to step in and perform frontline duties during periods of high occupancy to support the team. This position demands strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team coordination.

We offer a dynamic and rewarding work environment where your expertise will contribute significantly to the guest experience. Join us as a Housekeeping Manager to lead a vital department that upholds the comfort, safety, and cleanliness that guests expect, while advancing your career in the hospitality industry.
