The position offers an annual salary range of $60,000 to $75,000, along with eligibility for bonuses, providing a competitive compensation package for qualified candidates. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will oversee the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry services, ensuring that all guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
In this multifaceted management role, you will lead and work alongside a dedicated team of employees, conducting inspections, verifying guest room statuses, and maintaining communication with the Front Desk to facilitate smooth operations. Your responsibilities will extend to managing departmental budgets effectively, ensuring adequate inventory of supplies, supporting inspection programs, and enforcing compliance with all housekeeping policies and procedures. By doing so, you will play a crucial part in achieving and exceeding the hotel's financial and operational goals.
Furthermore, you will engage in key human resource activities, including training new room attendants, scheduling staff according to business demands, monitoring employee performance and time, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. This includes participating in disciplinary processes, recognizing employee contributions, and actively soliciting feedback to maintain high levels of employee satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in housekeeping or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Ability to manage daily operations and staff
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capability to conduct inspections and enforce standards
- Experience with employee scheduling and training
- Proficient in managing budgets and inventory

Job Duties
- Verify guest room status communication to Front Desk
- Inspect guestrooms daily
- Prepare work assignments based on room cleaning and check-out lists
- Inventory stock and ensure adequate supplies
- Support and supervise inspection programs for guestrooms and public spaces
- Manage departmental budgets to achieve financial goals
- Supervise daily Housekeeping shift operations and enforce compliance with policies
- Conduct training for new attendants and provide follow-up training
- Schedule employees and track time and attendance
- Maintain open relationships with employees and manage disciplinary procedures
- Observe and provide feedback on employee service behaviors
