This full-time Management position within the Housekeeping and Laundry department plays a crucial role in sustaining the high standards of the JW Marriott brand. The role focuses on supporting the daily operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry departments. Essential responsibilities include ensuring that every guestroom, public space, and employee area remains impeccably clean and well maintained. The ideal candidate will have either a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in housekeeping or a related professional area, or alternatively, a two-year degree in hospitality-related fields such as Hotel and Restaurant Management, Business Administration, or Hospitality itself, with no prior work experience required. Job Duties

ensures guest room status is communicated to the front desk in a timely and efficient manner
inspects guestrooms on a daily basis
obtains list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments
inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies
supports and supervises an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space
ensures all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding
supervises daily housekeeping shift operations and ensures compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures
schedules employees to business demands and tracks employee time and attendance
observes service behaviors of employees and provides feedback to individuals
