This opportunity is for a full-time Housekeeping Manager position, offering a competitive annual salary range of $82,000 - $84,000. Reporting directly to senior management, the Housekeeping Manager plays a vital role in the smooth operation and leadership of the housekeeping department, which is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction throughout the resort. This leadership role oversees several critical teams, including housekeeping, laundry, valet, and uniform personnel. The manager is tasked with ensuring that all areas of the resort, from guest rooms to public spaces, meet the highest standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
The Housekeeping Manager supports the department by coordinating and supervising daily operational activities, strengthening team performance through training and effective communication, and fostering a work environment that encourages respect and safety among all employees. The position requires close collaboration with other hotel departments such as Front Office and Engineering to maintain accurate room status and coordinate maintenance needs proactively. Job Duties
- Support daily operations across guest rooms, public areas, and laundry services
- monitor room and public area inspections with special attention to VIPs and showrooms
- communicate effectively with the Front Office to ensure accurate room status reporting
- partner with Engineering to maintain a proactive maintenance program
- ensure all cleaned rooms are logged appropriately by end-of-day
- coordinate and delegate assignments for room attendants, supervisors, and support staff
- oversee training, re-training, and performance of all housekeeping team members
