Job Description
PAH Management is a professional hospitality management company specializing in managing hotel operations with a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service excellence. Known for its dedication to operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, PAH Management oversees various hotel properties, ensuring each facility operates smoothly while meeting the financial goals and quality expectations of guests, employees, and corporate stakeholders.
The company embraces a comprehensive approach to hospitality management that not only focuses on optimizing internal departments but also enhances the overall guest journey. Its expertise spans across managing day-to-day hotel functions, improving staff performance, and implementing the latest industry standards and technologies.
The Housekeeping Manager role at PAH Management is pivotal in orchestrating the housekeeping operations essential to maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and aesthetic appeal of hotel rooms and public areas. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Housekeeping Manager is tasked with both short-term and long-term planning to ensure the department operates efficiently and cost-effectively. This role requires an individual adept at managing budgets, labor costs, and inventory of housekeeping and laundry supplies with a strategic mindset geared towards enhancing guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
In this capacity, the manager supervises the daily activities of the housekeeping team, instilling the importance of hospitality etiquette, including greeting guests warmly and resolving requests promptly and courteously. Regular inspection programs led by the manager ensure that hotel room standards consistently meet the high expectations set forth by PAH Management. Adherence to safety, security policies, OSHA, and ADA regulations is closely monitored to provide a safe working environment for staff and safe accommodations for guests.
Additionally, the role involves collaboration with vendors to ensure the timely procurement of quality supplies at competitive prices, as well as mentoring a multicultural and multilingual staff to foster a motivated and service-oriented workforce. The Housekeeping Manager also manages turndown services and caters to the special needs of VIP guests, foreign dignitaries, and others requiring exceptional attention.
This full-time exempt position at PAH Management demands leadership qualities such as high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, and excellent communication skills. Successful candidates will have proven experience in hotel rooms management, preferably with at least four years of progressive experience in the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and exhibit strong organizational and administrative capabilities. A hospitality or hotel management degree is an asset, complementing practical expertise and service-oriented leadership style.
By joining PAH Management as a Housekeeping Manager, individuals not only commit to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction but also contribute strategically to the financial health and reputation of the hotel. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team, implement industry best practices, and grow within a company that values exemplary service and continuous improvement.
