Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience in housekeeping or related area
  • Or 2-year degree from accredited university in related field
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to supervise and train staff
  • Available to work full time
  • Eligible to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 1 year housekeeping or related experience
  • Or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • Leadership and supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of housekeeping policies and procedures
  • Ability to conduct inspections and manage staff effectively
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize

Job Duties

  • Supports the daily shift operations of housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry
  • Ensures guestrooms, public space, and employee areas are clean and well maintained
  • Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action
  • Communicates guest room status to the front desk in a timely and efficient manner
  • Inspects guestrooms daily
  • Inventories stock and ensures adequate supplies
  • Supervises and supports an effective inspection program for all areas
  • Manages operations to meet or exceed financial goals
  • Ensures employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms
  • Communicates areas needing attention and follows up
  • Schedules employees based on business demands and tracks time and attendance
  • Observes service behaviors and provides feedback
  • Recognizes team member contributions publicly
  • Sets a positive example for guest relations
  • Handles guest complaints and works to improve satisfaction
  • Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service
