Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in housekeeping or related area
- Or 2-year degree from accredited university in related field
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Available to work full time
- Eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1 year housekeeping or related experience
- Or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Leadership and supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of housekeeping policies and procedures
- Ability to conduct inspections and manage staff effectively
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize
Job Duties
- Supports the daily shift operations of housekeeping, recreation/health club, and laundry
- Ensures guestrooms, public space, and employee areas are clean and well maintained
- Completes inspections and holds people accountable for corrective action
- Communicates guest room status to the front desk in a timely and efficient manner
- Inspects guestrooms daily
- Inventories stock and ensures adequate supplies
- Supervises and supports an effective inspection program for all areas
- Manages operations to meet or exceed financial goals
- Ensures employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- Communicates areas needing attention and follows up
- Schedules employees based on business demands and tracks time and attendance
- Observes service behaviors and provides feedback
- Recognizes team member contributions publicly
- Sets a positive example for guest relations
- Handles guest complaints and works to improve satisfaction
- Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service
