We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper to manage our housekeeping operations effectively. This is a pivotal role ensuring that our guest service, quality, and sustainability standards are consistently upheld across guest rooms, public areas, and hotel grounds. As an Executive Housekeeper, you will play an essential leadership role, guiding a team to maintain cleanliness and guest satisfaction while adhering to brand-specific and internal guidelines.

The Executive Housekeeper will be responsible for the full spectrum of housekeeping duties including recruiting, training, and coaching associates to perform at their best. You will coordinate daily schedules based on hotel occupancy and oversee inventory management to maintain adequate supplies. A strong focus will be placed on monitoring performance, ensuring adherence to hotel policies as well as health and safety regulations such as MSDS and OSHA standards. Your ability to resolve guest complaints quickly, enhance service scores, and support sustainability initiatives under our EarthView program will drive both operational excellence and guest loyalty.

This role offers a growth path leading from Executive Housekeeper to Operations Manager and potentially Assistant General Manager, providing ample opportunities for career advancement within our dynamic organization. Successful candidates should possess at least one year of supervisory housekeeping experience and preferably a high school diploma or equivalent. This position demands a flexible work schedule, readiness to work on holidays and weekends, and the physical ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.

Job Duties

  • Interview select train schedule coach and support associates ensuring they perform in accordance with established brand or hotel standards and consistent with HHM core values
  • Observe and monitor staff performance to ensure efficient operations and adherence to policies and procedures
  • Inspect guest rooms public areas and grounds for cleanliness appearance and safety
  • Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services and resolve guests complaints and concerns
  • Prepare schedules based upon occupancy and assign duties to associates
  • Take inventory and submit periodic inventory orders to ensure supplies are purchased in a timely manner
  • Prepare required paperwork pertaining to departmental functions
  • Be aware of and communicate guest service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction
  • Comply with HHM internal audit standards pertaining to key control and risk management areas ie lost and found key control guest room safety
  • Maintain departmental expenses in line with the budget as described by the General Manager
  • Ensure compliance with specific brand standards
  • Be aware of and communicate service scores to drive improvement and higher guest satisfaction
  • Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program
  • Practice safe work habits follow MSDS and OSHA standards wear protective safety equipment and participate in safety committees as directed
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
