The role of Housekeeping Manager at Unelma Ventures, LLC is a crucial leadership position designed to ensure the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department. This position is responsible for overseeing all areas related to housekeeping, including rooms, front and back of house, public spaces, and laundry services, guaranteeing that all departments meet the company’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction. The Housekeeping Manager directs the work of at least three full-time associates or their equivalents and must spend more than half of their time performing administrative, executive, or professional tasks. This level of responsibility requires independent judgment and discretion to manage complexities and ensure operational efficiency.
As an exempt manager, the Housekeeping Manager is expected to commit the necessary time each day to fulfill their duties, which involve supervising staff, coordinating daily activities, and handling executive functions that influence the overall productivity of the department. The position demands excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to act decisively in high-pressure situations, and the capacity to manage multiple competing priorities with composure and objectivity.
