Job Requirements
- Five years relevant supervisory experience preferably in a large hotel or comparable facility
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment
- Knowledge of chemical handling
- Ability to listen actively and communicate effectively
- Understanding of customer service principles and quality standards
- Proficient in English communication
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years of relevant supervisory experience preferably in a large hotel or comparable facility
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements, and use of equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling
- Ability to demonstrate active listening and effective communication
- Understanding of customer needs assessment and quality standards for services
- Proficiency in writing and speaking English
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
Job Duties
- Interview, hire, train, recommend performance evaluations, resolve problems, provide open communication, recommend discipline or termination when appropriate
- Assist evening staff with duties
- Provide clear direction in assigning and instructing housekeeping and public space staff
- Plan, organize, and monitor staff activities to ensure quality assurance standards
- Establish and maintain adequate supplies for efficient operation
- Distribute and delegate workload to guarantee maximum production and guest satisfaction
- Monitor house count and make staffing adjustments accordingly
- Ensure proper usage of chemicals and cleaning supplies, provide training, and ensure proper labeling
- Evaluate condition of furniture, fixtures, and decor and assist with rehab projects
- Communicate both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly
- Issue supplies and goods to staff to control inventory and expenses
- Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems
- Log items into Lost and Found and answer inquiries
- Implement emergency training and procedures
- Assist with inventory, labor, productivity, ordering supplies
- Lead by example with professional communication and behavior
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
